Glen Innes School kicking off Intermediate Tech for the Year

It was the first day back for Intermediate Technology students today and our friends from Glen Innes School were here for their first session of the year.
They are going to be doing Graphics, Food and Hard Materials.

Point England School were visiting Tamaki College for their Technology lessons this morning...

In Wood Tech, there was some learning going on about the right and wrong way to use a saw in the workshop.

In Food Tech, they were looking at hygiene when using mince. So.... they were making burgers.

In Graphics, it is time to be deciding on the design brief and thinking about what they will be designing. Great work on your Chromebooks there Point England so you can share your work with Mr Pineda.

Working hard Panmure Bridge School

Today, Panmure Bridge School have been working hard here at Tamaki College.

In Food Tech, they are using their great cutting skills to prepare the apples and then they moved on to cooking them on the stove top.

In Graphics, they are practising their measuring and line work.

Welcome to Tech Glenbrae School

Glenbrae School came to Tamaki College for their Technology lesson this morning.
They are in T2 on the Mac computers learning how to code on Scratch.

In Wood Tech, they have been designing some great ideas for their project.

They then had to use the wood that they are going to use to make sure their design was drawn to the correct size and scale.
